I was recommended Bombshell by one of my friends that recently got married. Their new location is beautiful.

My mom and I made an appointment to just take a look at dresses, since my wedding is not until October 2025. Once I put in the request for the appointment, it was confirmed in less than 24 hours and the shop contacted me via text. There was a live person on the other end of that text and I was able to easily change my appointment and get a great brunch recommendation.

I really was not planning to get a dress that day, but Bombshell has a great selection in a range of sizes so that I could really get an idea of what my dress would look like (minimal clipping needed).

The staff was welcoming and so helpful! They did not pressure me and advised on what the process would look like if I decided to wait to order my dress. I’d never stepped into a bridal boutique, much less tried on a wedding dress on before walking into Bombshell. Both the style representative and owner were so above and beyond; In kindness, in inclusivity, in empathy, and in their trade. To start my appointment, they allowed me to walk through the store and pick a few of my own. They observed thoughtfully as the guided me through my search. The entire time they are also listening so attentively; to my preferences, to my likes, dislikes, to my own physical insecurities. When I wasn’t sold on my first pick, they listened to what I loved and what I felt like I was missing. When I wasn’t sold on my second pick, they’d already heard enough to present me with my absolute dream dress. And when I say dream, I mean the dress I’ve been saving and Pinteresting (give or take some minor nuances) since I was 16 years old. Long before my wonderful fiancé selected me as his bride. Before saying yes to the dress, I was privileged enough to hear the owner’s mission in her business, and her efforts to include every bride of every size for their special day. Thank you Bombshell for not only making me feel comfortable and beautiful in my skin, but for celebrating my beauty too. Amazing Experience from beginning to end!
Wonderful customer service on the phone to book my appointment, they where so friendly and inviting. I drove from the West side of the state with 3 of my girls and my mom. The boutique is cozy and feels like having a private space the way the mirrors are set up. We had the undivided attention from our consultant which was noticed and appreciated! She listened to my likes and dislikes and ultimately ended up bringing out MY dress after I'd tried on several that we picked. After putting on a contender and thinking I wasn't going to find anything I LOVE but I really liked it, she brought out one last dress. As soon as she zipped me in, I knew it. When original plans to order new fell through because of my timeline, they reassured me that the dress I tried on in store was still available. I drove the three hours over and picked up this stunner! I needed minimal beading work done (which they discounted for) and only a bustle added. They where able to offer seamstress recommendations and had a great selection of veils to offer, as well as bridal jewelry. This really is a one stop bridal shop and such a gem for the plus size community. I have recommended Bombshell several times already and will continue to do so, EVERY bride deserves the amazing experience that they offer.

I had absolutely the most amazing experience!!! My wonderful consultant, Keira, listened to what I wanted, what my budget was, and brought me dress after dress to help me narrow down what I was truly looking for. I cried when I found my perfect wedding dress! It could not have happened without my consultant being amazing and there for me. Plus, the laughs we had were well worth the drive from Lansing! As a plus sized woman, you will NOT be disappointed by coming here. You will feel absolutely gorgeous in every dress and you will have a BLAST.

From the moment I walked into Bombshell Bridal, it felt like home. Everyone was welcoming, helpful, and so encouraging. It was so nice to be able to walk into a wedding dress boutique and able to try on the majority of the dresses there. Being plus size, those experiences are few and far between, so to be able to have that experience when shopping for quite literally the most important dress of my life was truly amazing. My consultant became an instant friend and was there for me throughout the whole process; alterations and all. Stephanie knew exactly what I was looking for better than I did. She’s truly amazing! I never liked shopping for clothes bc it’s hard to find stuff that fits in stores. so I was nervous about dress shopping, but my sister told me about bombshell bridal and we made an appointment. there were so many options and they were all beautiful dresses. I also always thought dresses were all like 5k+ so I was pleasantly surprised when everything I tried was less than $2k. I ended up finding the most beautiful dress that had everything I was always looking for for only $1500. Bombshell Bridal was the first bridal shop I went to and could’ve been the only one. I ended up going to other shops, but knew my dress was at Bombshell and was the third dress I tried on. Melissa went above and beyond at my appointment and was able to show me different dresses and answer any and all questions my inquisitive self presented to her. Also, Amanda went above and beyond to make sure I received my dress. She was so kind and you can truly tell she cares for the clients and wants everyone to have a great experience.

I drove over 2 hours to come for my dress! I was greeted by my stylist Melissa who was absolutely amazing with assisting me with my dress! I tried on about 10 dresses and finally found the one! Thank you all so much for everything you have done for me! If you're looking for somewhere that doesn't size shame and has very sweet amazing people to help you look no more!

I can't say enough good things about my experience at Bombshell Bridal. As a plus size woman, the thought of trying on wedding dresses gave me so much anxiety. I was terrified something that should be such a special thing would be tainted by nothing fitting. I am so glad I found Bombshell Bridal because they have dresses ranging from size 12-40 so most should be able to find something they love. My consultant Stephanie made my feel comfortable and beautiful. She never made me feel bad about my body or my choice in dresses. Me and my girls had so much fun during the appointment and I was shocked to actually get to say yes to the dress! I came to my appointment as a nervous wreck, and I left feeling like the most beautiful bride-to-be. Thank you Bombshell and Stephanie specifically for making my day.
